Wishing Wells and Treasure Chests

How does the wishing well or treasure chest 'work'?

It is based on receiving monetary or gift vouchers instead of presents, at the event. Explain to your guests your intentions of using a treasure chest or wishing well by enclosing a special poem along with your invitation. (We can provide you with a list of poems for you to choose. You can then get it printed and include it with your invitations, to let your guests know your preference rather than gifts).

How did the Wedding Wishing Wells begin?

My daughter wanted a Well for her wedding and couldn't find one available of good quality, one that could enhance and match their special event.

We then decided to get one handcrafted and designed, we were specific about what we wanted and that it was to be made in New Zealand. Every one still thinks what a great idea the Wells are and the contributions were all well received by the bride and groom. Since that very humble beginning, word spread and many of the bride and grooms friends began to use the Well on their wedding day too.

Today our head office is based in Christchurch, our hire service is limited to South Island, New Zealand.
